Why polish a slab
Polished concrete is not a coating sitting on top of your slab. It is the slab itself, refined. We run diamond tooling across the surface in progressive grits, densify the concrete to harden it, then polish it up to the gloss level you want, from a soft satin to a deep mirror.
The result is a floor that does not flake, peel, or wear through the way paints and thin coatings do. It shrugs off forklift traffic in a warehouse, foot traffic in retail, and daily life in a home, and it cleans up with a dust mop and the occasional damp pass.
Because the finish lives inside the concrete, it is one of the lowest-maintenance and longest-lasting floors you can put down on an existing slab. The prep and the grind are what make it look right, and that is the part we obsess over.
